What type of disc plastics can be dyed?

Unfortunately, not all types of disc plastic will hold dye.  We often get asked to dye a disc (like a putter) that don’t come in dyable plastics.

To try to help you make your disc dye descision, here’s a list of plastics that we will custom dye.

How does the image hold up?

Some plastics hold tight lines longer than others.  Each type of plastic reacts to dye a little differently.  Typically, the softer the plastic, the more the image will become fuzzy over time.

* These discs become a little fuzzy (like a photo slightly out of focus) after about 6-12 months depending on the firmness of the disc.

** These discs because more fuzzy after 6 months.  We really don’t recommend detailed designs on these discs.
